Hi guys, sorry i haven't updated you for a while i have been really busy getting all my coursework finished for uni. I haven't been up to much recently just been home for easter and obviously been uploading a new video everyweek to my youtube Channel =D

The only performance i have done was at Starbucks in fallowfield at the begining of march. It was awesome! I got to perform a 45min set with two friends on acoustic guitar and my other friend doing backing vocals. It was such a weird experience playing to such an intimate crowd but i loved it! I got such good feedback from the people that came to watch me. I will deffo be doing it again so i will keep you posted =D

The only other thing i really want to mention is the fact that one of my youtube videos has reached over 700 views! This was such a shock i never thought that this would happen, the most i ususally get in a few weeks is 50 views!! I just want to say thank you so much to everyone that watches my videos and supports me in any way it means the world!

Anyway, i do go on, i hope you have all had a great easter and thank you again!!!

Hey i just thought i would update you all on what i have been up to recently. I had my mock exam today in preperation for my final performance exam in may. I had to perform 20minutes of my set. It went really well and got great feed back from my tutors.

Now i know how to improve my set and make sure i get a great final mark. Im also performing in 2 other performance exams for my friends. Its a great way to exapand my performance experience and build my confidence.

Thats it!! Not much over christmas....except putting a new video on my youtube accout =D. In the studios in 2 weeks time so i will let you know how that goes on!

I decided to add a blog so that i can keep you up to dat with the things that are going on in my life. So first of all i will tell you a bit about my life so far.

I only started to sing when i was in my final years of high school. My music teacher encouraged me to persue a musical pathway when she heard me sing for the first time in my exam. Because of this i performed at a night of music and dance at my school. People were shocked when they heard me sing because i had never sang infront of anyone before. ' Where has that voice come from? ' was a phrase i started to hear a lot from my friends a nd family, which encouraged me to do more and more performing.

In my last year at Lowton High School, i entered a competition put on by my school named 'Pop Idol' where i came 3rd out of the whole school. It felt amazing to come in the top three, i didnt even think i would get that far. It was such a good experience. I owe a lot to my music teachers because if it wasnt for them i wouldnt of discovered my talent.

After i left school i went onto Wigan and Leigh Sixth Form College. where i studied Music, Art and English. Here i developed my musical knowledge and also had singing lessons for the first time. I performed at frequent concerts put on by the college and also at carol services each christmas at  a local parish church. This helped my confidence to develop which, i think, if i hadnt been encouraged to do these i wouldnt be at university now in my final year.

I left college in 2008 and enrolled at the University of Salford. I have done so much over the past 3 and a half years. Been put into ensemble bands were we wrote our own material and performed them in a local pub, played at various open mic nights put on by our university's christian union and also been taught by the likes of Johnny Marr!

Also i got to record a few tracks in Spirit Studios,Manchester, for free by a family member. I recorded a few original tracks with a close friend of mine. That was an amazing experience, actually getting to see what it was like to be a recording artist.

Now in my final year i am working in recording studios, being the engineer and also being recorded by other students, and also i have put an ensemble together for my final year perfromance. We are doing a pop/punk rock set, covering songs by the likes of You Me At Six and Paramore.....both bands i am a huge fan of! I also have the oppertunity now to reherse in BluePrint Studios, Manchester, where the like of Lady GaGa and Justin Timberlake have recorded their albums

Uni has been amazing so far and i have not even finished yet!

So yer, this is my 'musical' life in a nut shell. Hopefully there is even more things for me to experience!
